Everbody want to complete their work on time. Sometime it become very hard to complete because of procrastination. So here In this article I will tell you about the best way to stop procrastination  based on my experience .

I assure If you follow this step you will definetly get rid of procrastionation. Before getting into that you should know what is procrastionation and why we procrastionate.

Procrastination is a state of mind in which a person delay his work or put the work until the last minute. For example if you have to submit your assignment one week later. You think that you can complete that assignment on the last day before submitting assignment then you become lazy in that. It’s a human tendency to that so don’t worry about it here are the solution:-

1. Desire

This is the most important point and I strongly belief in that. What ever you are doing if you don’t have any strong desire for that you make it delay always.

For example if you want to work on any idea. If you are delaying it for whatever reason then it simply mean that you don’t have strong goal for that. So if you develop a goal or desire toward that work you will never delay that work.

2. Find opportunities

This is another my personal technique I used to avoid procrastionation. Not all work around my surrounding is of my interest. So naturally I tried to avoid all that thing which is none of my interest. later I realized that what can I learn all from that non interested work after that I don’t make delay In any work.

3. Completing the work will make you relax

We always try to go away from the work but the one thing we never notice is that if you complete your work on time it make you relax whereas if you try to delay your work it only make you worried so think about always completing the work on time

4. Don’t imagine take action

This is the most common problem we all have if we have some idea to work on it then first we create imagination for example will it work or not what happened if I get fail in that.

Guys if you are thinking like above then you never going to start your work, how can you predict that some idea will work or not until you take action.The only ways is stop imagining and take action.

5. Avoid distraction

This is also a major point in procrastination. If you can’t avoid distraction around you work you will never get your work done. For example while doing your work you get the notification on your phone then you will be tempted to check that messages and once you get into that your work will only get delay.

Pro tip- keep the phone in another room while you are working. It seem to be simple but it really work.

6. Set simple and achievable goal at starting

Setting a big goal in a starting will seem to daunting. If you are setting any big goal for you then divide it in small part. Take one by one step to get closer to your goal concentrate on only one thing at a time. If you think that you can do all the thing in one day then that work never going to be done.

7. Reward yourself

Whenever you complete any task don’t forget to reward yourself like having a piece of cake, coffee or going out. It makes you feel good and whenever you feel like procrastinating your mind remind you about the reward which keep you going.

8. Create a state of emergency

If you are facing difficult time avoiding procrastination create a non avoiding situation in your work. let me clear you with an example

If you want to join gym and you are delaying it for whatever reason just give the fees in advance then it create a state of emergency in your mind that you have to join the gym because you already paid the fees of gym in advance. Although it is not a quality encounter to stop procrastination but it really work when your motivation is down.

9. Tell someone to check up on you

Tell someone about your work. The next which which going to happen is whenever you procrastinate that person will remind you about work. It make you feel ashame of yourself and you will start doing your work.

10. Try to do maximum work when you have energy

We human being are more energetic in the morning and energy get down as the time pass on, so always try to complete your work in the morning (or whenever your enery level is high).

11. Stop waiting for perfect time

you have seen many of your friend talking about their goal and tell that right now I don’t have time I will do it tomorrow or I don’t have that particular resources to start my work.

So guys if you are also in this category then remove this habit because perfect time never come and I gurantee you that for whatever reason you are saying this you will never get you work start.

I personally gone through this situation when I was about to start my blog I make excuse to myself that right now I don’t have skill for this. I will start when I get full knowledge about it. the negative effect that I get from this is I started my blog after five months after having an idea. It gave me realisation that no matter what the condition is start from zero .

12. Having a contact with goal oriented person

Find a friend who is also goal oriented like you. Spending time with him will inspire you to take action on your goal. Whenever you get to talk to each other you both will talk on each other goal. Share strategy which keep the environment of talking action.

13. Don’t get angry while procrastinating

Suppose if you are procrastinating even though don’t get anger or puzzled because it will down your energy that probably limit your work to be done.

So whenever you surround yourself with such feeling try to find what can I do next.

14. visualization

You can also avoid procrastination by using visualization. This I personally use if I want my work done as early as possible I use visualization in the night

For example I set up mental alarm in my mind just 5 minute before sleeping that I have to get up in the morning at 4.00 am.

You might be wondering how does it work. Guys there is scientific reason behind when you think something about before getting into sleep that it directly goes into the subconscious mind then it definetly do that work. So this is great trick to avoid procrastination.

At last my personal experience on stoping procrastinating (you must try)

I Found With my personal experience that if I am not in a working zone I found it difficult to get into the work, whereas if I am on a working mode until my work done I don’t procrastinate because it’s a human tendency. If we are engage in something then we don’t think about anything else until it done. So try this trick it will definetly work.
