Motivation is the most powerful thing in the world. This help in your bad time but most of the people find it difficult how to motivate themselves to achieve their goal. So if you are struggling to motivate yourself don’t worry here in this article I will share you the best and practical way to motivate yourself based on my experience. So let’s get started.

I know you all are reading this article to find the solution. Nobody is interested in the definition but before getting into the answer you should know what motivate you to get into something. There are two type of things that motivate you.
It is the type of motivation that comes from the feeling of reward, watching someone else getting success in that work, want to be respected.
This is the type of motivation that comes from bottom of your heart that has nothing to do with the external force. It is like doing it for your growth, want to gain knowledge, want to change something for the world.
Most of you have heard that you should have internal motivation despite of extrinsic motivation. External motivation does’nt last for long whereas intrinsic goes long. I have a different opinion you can have external motivation that is not bad if you are doing it for any reward but the thing to be remembered is you should have the interest for that work too.
I know you all hear this in your daily life and might be wondering why I am still discussing it. The point is everyone knows it but nobody realize that really you have got one chance to live your dream. You will not get another chance. It does’nt matter you win or fail or what other says just do it.
If you are not motivated toward anything then you are wasting your life and once in your life you will have to regret for sure. The pain of regret is much bigger than any pain.
You should find the why in your work. Why doesn’t mean that like I am doing this work for balancing my family or I am doing this work because everyone is doing. You should find that do you have the passion for that work or not. If you have strong why you will be motivated to do your work.
if your first point is clear then the next process is try to fix that motivation in your brain. I know this is quite scientific. Let me make it easy with an easy example
You might have seen many people who watches motivational videos and after watching it they get so much motivated but after some time they get back to their real personality. This is because that motivation didn’t get deep rooted inside there brain. It can be done in mainly two way
1.visualization
2. affirmation
Focusing on multiple thing will drain your motivation. So always put focus on one thing at a time.
This is an important point but no one notice it is the killer of motivation.
Let suppose you are much more indulged in your work and giving 100 percent and your very focused on it. Suddenly someone else or thing will make you distract and then when you get back to the work the flow of work that you have earlier get slow.
It is a human tendency to go after short term pleasure like using phone, hanging with friends, craving for fast food. The point here is it never satisfy you for long term rather long term pleasure will not give you instant pleasure but will give you great result in future like working on your goal, learning any new skill.
This rule suggest that if you are playing a match against a child you feel bored. It is different when you play against a great player you feel demotivated. Third scenario is when you play against a player which is equal to your level you feel like keep going.
The goldilocks principle suggest that the task that are below to your current ability is boring. The task is above ability is discouraging but the task that are in the border to success and failure are really motivating for us.
This rule is good but the one question came to my mind is if your fully motivated towards your work and you have belief in yourself then no matter who is against you. Your motivation will never go low.
Many of you have heard that motivation does’nt last for long so you have to make the work a habit so that when you don’t feel motivated you keep on going because you make it habit of doing that work regularly. But I have experienced this in a different way.
Let me clear you with my example then you can relate with it easily.
I have joined gym for 6 month when I continued it for four month it become a habit for me. I walk up early in the morning and go to gym I can’t resist it but still I have to force myself for going for gym because I don’t have any motivation for that. The habit that I made in 4 month does’nt make the work easy for me.
So the point is plant that motivation in your mind first then start doing work. Most of the expert say that don’t wait for the motivation do the work. I have different opinion if you start your work without motivation then you are not doing any good to your work. Have you ever saw any person got success in their field without motivation. The answer is no one. So first find the motivation.
